The deed gives date of instrument, names of grantor (seller) and grantee (purchaser), location of property, amount paid for the property, grantor's notarized signature, certification of county clerk, and date recorded.

Boyle, the ninety-fourth Kentucky County was formed in 1842 from parts of Lincoln and Mercer Counties. It is named for John Boyle. Danville is its county seat. The courthouse burned in 1860.
